Big Data for the Liveable City of Tomorrow
The GreenCities project is supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). Funding for this project was granted under the "Development of Innovative Big Data Methods and Applications" theme to improve the planning, management and control of urban green infrastructure. The project tasks are focused on improving the planning of green infrastructure in cities and to maintain existing infrastructure through Big Data analysis and the integration of a variety of data including Earth observation, Internet of Things (IoT), and crowdsourcing.
